How to Make a Fall Pumpkin Decoration

September 23, 2013

Description:

This week I decided to restore and old fall decoration I had. I really liked the decoration, but we lost all the pumpkins on it. Luckily, we still had the post that was painted green with all of the decorations on it. Making the post is really simple if you don’t have one. All you do is cut a 2×4 down to 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ and paint it green. The dollar store probably sells fake leaves and by taking a staple gun, you can easily attach the leaves. From here, I just cut out pumpkin templates that I made and painted them the appropriate color. After that was all done I epoxied the pumpkins to the stick. If you want to make your own, you can download the pumpkin templates below for free!
