How to Make a Boombox
November 26, 2013
Description:
This week I’m back in my basement (Michigan winters are cold in the garage!) making a boombox for my room. I thought it would be a fun idea and I recently got some speakers from an old TV we were throwing out. I saved the screws that mounted the speakers and I ripped out an old circuit board from some computer speakers. I used the circuit board to connect the speaker wires to the power source (a 9v battery) and to connect the aux jack. I simply built a wood case for the speakers to mount to out of 3/4″ plywood. After I mounted everything, I realized something was missing, buttons for the front! Unfortunately, the buttons don’t actually work, but they dress up the box a little bit. Watch the video for a better understanding of how it was built and don’t forget to give the video a thumbs up and subscribe if you’re new to my channel!
