How to Make a Wallet (FAIL!)

April 28, 2015

Description:

I thought this would be a cool project, but it didn’t go the way I expected. I started out by cutting 2 pieces of 1/4″ poplar to the size of a debit card. I then used Steve Ramsey’s inkjet printer to wood technique. I then attempted to use velcro to hold the wallet together, but that didn’t work. I struggled with it for an hour or so and it just didn’t work. I thought about using a magnet, but that could deactivate credit cards or gift cards so I wouldn’t want to do that. I decided it would just be best to put a rubber band around it and call it a day.
