How to Make a Miter Sled (Old Version)

May 27, 2014

Description:

Note: This is the older version of my miter sled video. Since then, I have created a new video on how to make a  miter sled that is higher quality.

This week I bought a brand new table saw and wanted to do a project that showcased it. For this project I used 3/4″ particle board and a scrap piece of 2×4. The first thing I did was made runners for the table saw tracks. I then attached those to the particle board with glue and wood screws. I then cut the board in half and added each 2×4 piece on a 45 degree angle. I glued and screwed those down into place and ran the sled halfway through my table saw. Now this miter saw sled is ready to be used!
